For many years, Mental Health America of Northeast Georgia (and its predecessor organizations) has sponsored a Social Club.
The Board of Directors voted in April to discontinue this sponsorship.
Social Club Coordinator Jim Parker has run the club for 28 years. We salute him for his service to the club members and to the community.

Mondays are not usually so busy.
Today started with a presentation to a class at Athens Technical College. It was a great group.
I discussed the three tasks of MHANEGA: education, service and advocacy. The students-there were about 30-were attentive and asked great questions.
